Communication Project "Do Tell"

Fans of beats, rhymes, and robust vocabularies: I implore you to wraps your ears around the new album who told you to think??!!?!?!?! from Maine rapper milo. Not only is it one of more captivating hip-hop releases of the year, it also proudly carries on the experimental and fiercely anti-mainstream mentality of the independent hip-hop movement of the late 1990s and early 2000s, a movement that has largely disappeared in our digital age. Before you go and Google or do a Spotify search for milo (and I hope you do), get a taste of the lyrical labyrinths and unconventional beats from that creative turn-of-the-millennium period with “Do Tell,” a one-off collaboration between two of the era’s finest artists – the incomparable MC/producer doseone and producer extraordinaire Guillermo Scott Herren (aka Prefuse 73, amongst many other aliases) – under the short-lived guise Communication Project that’s featured on Chocolate Industries’ stacked 2000 compilation Rapid Transit.
