Crispy New Cuts is an on-going series spotlighting 7 fresh new songs that have recently crossed our path and deserve a bit more shine.

Bedbug "lilies"

Chilly winter days are an ideal time to get cozy with some intimate lo-fi bedroom pop, and this new single from Boston’s Bedbug off their upcoming album I’ll Count To Heaven In Years Without Seasons is a charmer.

Birthday Boy & Trish "Chance To Go Far"

Sultry new collaboration out of Toronto between rising electronic producer Birthday Boy and R&B vocalist Trish. Their debut release Joseph is out later this week on the consistently great Bastard Jazz Recordings.

breaking "rough cut"

Evocative, cinematic, dreamy new song from breaking, the alias of emerging Brooklyn-based musician and filmmaker Austin Johnson.

D.K. "Stick To The Rules"

We’re big fans of Parisian electronic producer and DJ, Dang-Khoa Chau aka D.K., so we’re stoked he’s quickly blessing the new year with more blissful dancefloor grooves.

DJ Taye "Trippin'"

Chicago’s DJ Taye is keeping the legacy of DJ Rashad alive and shining for the Teklife crew with this thrilling juke/hip-hop hybrid from his first proper solo album Still Trippin’, due out on March 2nd via Hyperdub Records.

Glowing Palms "Soufriere Bay"

Good music, good cause. This colorful midtempo burner is part of Compilation for Dominica, a stacked 28-track collection of tunes curated by Rhythm Section International with all profits raised donated to Colihaut In Focus alongside Dominica Hurricane Maria Relief Fund, two organizations committed to obtaining resources of aid to Dominica in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

Krystal Klear "Just A Little (Sunday Service Mix)"

Dublin-based DJ/producer Krystal Klear is always on-point, and his debut on Hot Haus is a proper infectious homage to the house rhythms that defined NYC club culture in the 90s. Something for your mind, your body, and your soul.
