Sultry vibes out of Mexico City from rising artist and “Mexican R&B babygirl” Girl Ultra via the excellent label Finesse Records.

Jackson MacIntosh "Can It Be Love"

Slow-motion psych-pop from Montreal’s Jackson MacIntosh (also a member of the wonderful pop outfit TOPS) on his new single “Can It Be Love,” an early single off his upcoming solo debut album My Dark Side that’s out early next month on Sinderlyn.

Nisantashi Primary School "Past Yesterday"

This one arrived in September 2017, sounds like it’s from NYC’s legendary 80s art-pop scene, and it’s a wonderful new discovery to our ears. Groove out the minimal-funk of Ukranian trio Nisantashi Primary School and the standout track “Past Yesterday” from their self-titled debut.

Pleasure Model "La Guardia"

California label 100% Silk Records just unleashed a massive charity compilation titled Silk To Dry The Tears, released in memory of the lives lost in the tragic Ghost Ship fire in Oakland in December 2016. Pleasure Model’s “La Guardia” is just one of 31 wonderful tracks from 100% Silk’s stacked roster featured on the release. 50% of the profits from this compilation will be donated to Safer DIY Spaces, an Oakland-based coalition offering guidance, financial assistance, and labor to non-traditional creative community spaces.

Sax G "League Of Shadows (feat. Conway The Machine)"

Seattle producer/rapper Sax G coming through with his lush sample-heavy beats and setting the foundation for Buffalo rapper Conway the Machine to casually glide with the grittiness. An early taste of his upcoming album Tomorrow’s New Villain dropping early next month.
