The Pittsburgh rapper stepped onto the scene in 2010 with his mixtape K.I.D.S., creating a large following of young kids that would grow with him as his career would from multiple mixtapes and full-length albums to TV shows and comedy sketches. Arguably at the peak of his evolution with projects like The Divine Feminine and Swimming, the music world is left to wonder what more could have been from the young artist. We'll never know but this generation of rap music was blessed to have someone who cared about art and vulnerability so that it could connect with the people. Thank you, Mac Miller.
